Due to COVID-19 145 are new deaths and 7,368 people are found new cases in past 24 hours. Of the total cases confirmed on Sunday, 7,316 were detected through the RT-PCR tests while 52 others were through the antigen tests, according to Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
In the Kathmandu Valley, added 2,609 new cases including those 292 in Bhaktapur, 436 in Lalitpur and 1,881 in Kathmandu districts.
Spokesperson Dr Gautam also shared that 6,648 patients gained recovery in the past 24 hours taking Nepal’s recovery rate to 74.6 percent.
